The Arkansas Razorbacks opened with a solid performance.
Balanced offense and the defense was vastly improved over a year ago.
We had heard a little about Ben Herbert’s program to make kids bigger, stronger and faster in eight weeks and while that’s always said when a new strength and conditioning coach comes in, this time there was a noticeable difference in several players.
Travis Swanson was the quickest and strongest he’s ever been and it showed. Jonathan Williams was more muscular and faster.
Trey Flowers played defensive end the way it is supposed to be played.
Last year the Razorbacks couldn’t have won the Sun Belt, this year they probably could, and if the next three games are used to improve this team, which is the goal, they very well could be 7-5 and in a bowl.
