Hall of Fame
The Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame will induct a great class on March 8.The eight honorees are Jeremy Jacobs, racing but he is the owner of the Boston Bruins too; Marcus Brown, basketball; Don Nixon, basketball coach; Frank O’Mara, track, Wyn Norwood, golf, John Outlaw, high school football coach and Sonja Tate, basketball.
Golfer Stacy Lewis rounds out the group, and the former Arkansas Razorback golfer, has bent over backwards to be on hand for the induction. The only request she made was that she have a room with two beds so her dad would have a place to stay.
The Hall of Fame got her two rooms.
Lewis is currently the No. 3 female golfer in the world and truly a class act.

I had a chance to visit “one on one” with each of the seven living inductees and with John Outlaw’s brother. I can assure you that each of them was very nice and very appreciative. The two who are especially famous on a national level are Stacy and Jeremy Jacobs. Stacy and Jeremy are both truly CLASS ACTS. Also, Jeremy’s wife – was just as charming. Inductees like this entire group are what make the ASHOF special. Best wishes to you, Wally, as you take over the role as president of the ASHOF for the next two years.
