Bill Snyder

Just a year after being manhandled by the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Cotton Bowl, in a game Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder didn’t seem to have any answers, the man who came within one game of playing for the BCS National Championship was named the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year.
Snyder, who has retired once only to return and revive the Wildcats program, played for Tennessee and the Volunteers had a 27-1-2 record during his playing days.
The official presentation of the trophy, sponsored by the Chick-fil-A Bowl, will be in Manhatten, Kansas in March.
