Aggieville
One of the many reasons I have always loved the old Southwest Conference is no matter which city I was in I knew there was going to be good Mexican food.
So I’m a little excited about returning to College Station this weekend, but not just for the food.
There is something special about watching the Texas A&M marching band enter the stadium.
Their uniforms are perfect, the gig line is straight and every person is in step.
Sure the Aggies can be quirky and if they do something twice it becomes a tradition, but it is a great atmosphere for football. And even though the kickoff is around 11 a.m., the place will be packed.
It will be a like a homecoming. The Hogs haven’t been there since 1991, but once the game starts, it will be two Southeastern Conference schools looking for their first league win.
On Friday night, and probably Saturday night, there will be much Tex-Mex enjoyed too.
