NCAA Tournament from Cleveland
Watching the first weekend of the NCAA Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas is high on my bucket list.
I’m told in some of the casinos sports books you can watch every game being played at that time.
I’ve never really dreamed of watching the NCAA Tournament from a hotel room in Cleveland, but that’s what I’m doing as I write this.
Rachel is trying to work but her stomach keeps interrupting her good intentions.
She has a four-hour gastro emptying test tomorrow and it will be a tremendous challenge because she has to eat an egg sandwich and then keep it down for four hours or the test starts all over.
Her personal record for keeping solid food down since Jan. 1 is an hour and six minutes. In other words, she will have to find a way to get the bile back in her stomach.
After that we meet with her specialist, Dr. Sigurbjorn Birgisson, who is from Iceland. He did his fellowship and specialty training at the Cleveland Clinic.
He’s a very friendly and helpful, as well as extremely and polite doctor. On Monday Rachel will have Botox injected in her stomach and unless something else comes up, literally and figuratively, we’ll be headed home that evening.
Until then, we’ll be watching the NCAA Tournament from our hotel room in Cleveland, which is better than I expected. You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
