St. Vincent
After months, actually years, of stomach problems my wife, Rachel, is doing great.
Thank you Dr. Dean Kumpuris, who ordered the gall bladder function test, and Dr. John Jones, who took out the malfunctioning organ.
Why other doctors hadn’t ordered that test is something only they should answer.
Rachel’s ordeal began Jan. 2 and was fixed on the 20th after we moved to St. Vincent’s Infirmary and got Dr. Kumpuris to take over her case.
He has been my gastro doctor for a while (and was hers before), and he actually found something that had been missed by others.
She won’t switch again.
From the time we rolled through the emergency room and into her room at St. Vincent’s, the care was unbelievable.
The nurses were kind, attentive and made us feel like Rachel was their only patient. There are too many too name them all but Terry, Bonnie, Bridget, Alison, Toni, Charol and Joyce are some of the names we’ll never forget.
I can’t thank them enough or all the people who called, texted or e-mailed they were praying for Rachel.
Personal testimonies were incredibly encouraging as many people shared the experience of having their gall bladder removed.
Friends and family were amazing.
It was an ordeal but one that seems to be over, as for the first time in years Rachel is home with no stomach pain or nauseous.
